With so many heart scanning centres throughout the UK – how on earth are you suppose to select the appropriate one? A couple simple tips may be helpful – Is the heart scan centre a full service provider or a test centre. With the latter option, they can only provide the heart scan and then you will have to take it to your cardiologist for diagnosis etc. If the former you can literally get immediate service as the cardiologist will examine your results and make the necessary recommendations. He or she may also recommend additional heart investigations or heart tests . Another way to select where one should get their heart scans done is by reviewing the cardiac staff at the centre. If the staff is active in cardiac research along with cardiac care , then you will have the additional comfort that the staff is aware of the latest research and technology available.
